Plants that attract bees

We are now closed for winter but will open again in December to take advance orders for spring delivery.

All our plants have been carefully selected to ensure that they are amongst the most attractive to bees; we grow and observe each variety before we offer them for sale. And of course they are all grown organically and are peat and pesticide free!

We sell our plants in trays of 6 plants, or sometimes 10, and each tray is enough to fill 1+ square meters of flowering area. All plants are ready to go straight into the ground and we recommend planting in blocks of 3s or 5s as a big block is more efficient for the bees.

Sorry we only deliver to mainland UK and Northern Ireland. Please note we deliver by courier.

Tray of 6. Will flower next year

You will probably have seen this dramatic native hedgerow plant at roadsides but it is also good in gardens. Self seeds but is easily weeded out if you get the when they are small, otherwise plant in a 'wildlife area' or in grass where weeding is not a problem. Purple flower spikes 1.5m high in August then it leaves beautiful seed heads all winter.  Bumblebees really love them.
