Plants that attract bees
Orders placed now will be delivered early April depending on the weather. If items are out of stock, in most cases this is temporary while we grow more.
All our plants have been carefully selected to ensure that they are amongst the most attractive to bees; we grow and observe each variety before we offer them for sale. And of course they are all grown organically and are peat and pesticide free!
We sell our plants in trays of 6 plants, or sometimes 10, and each tray is enough to fill 1+ square meters of flowering area. All plants are ready to go straight into the ground and we recommend planting in blocks of 3s or 5s as a big block is more efficient for the bees.
Sorry we only deliver to mainland UK and Northern Ireland. Please note we deliver by courier.
Lavender 'edelweiss'
Lavender 'edelweiss'
Tray of 6 plants
This is a tall white lavender hybrid (90cm) that we have selected because of its very long flowering season. It should flower from July to Sept and if cut back after the initial flowers will ofter flower again. Attracts honey bees and bumblebees
The leaf ball grows to 50cm across but the tall flower stems extend this to up to 90cm when in flower; the flowers tend to flop sideways which means it is not as tall is the 90cm implies and is really nice at the edge of a path.
