from £7.00

Tray of 3 or 6 plants

This is the top bee-plant we have found for attracting bumblebees in shade. Attracts bumblebees, particularly carders. Produces a mass of dark leaves, sometimes with maroon splashes, and this hybrid which self-seeded in my garden, has purple flowers that fade to white in the centre. Good ground over under trees.

Shade tolerant. Flowers purple, sometimes maroon, Apr-Jun, 50cm high. plant 50cm apart
