Chives (Allium schoenoprasum)

Chives (Allium schoenoprasum)

from £7.00

Tray of 3 or 6 plants

All members of the onion family are good for bees but chives produce great masses of flowers and have the advantage that you can eat them (but please snip the leaves gently from the sides to avoid chopping off the flower buds). You can make either a border edge of a great mass of them and have plenty for both you and the bees.

Attracts mainly bumblebees, particularly red-tailed bumbles.
