Plants that attract bees

Orders placed now will mostly be delivered w/c 30th April

All our plants have been carefully selected to ensure that they are amongst the most attractive to bees; we grow and observe each variety before we offer them for sale. And of course they are all grown organically and are peat and pesticide free!

We sell our plants in trays of 6 plants, or sometimes 10, and each tray is enough to fill 1+ square meters of flowering area. All plugs and plants are ready to go straight into the ground and we recommend planting in blocks of 3s or 5s as a big block is more efficient for the bees.

Sorry we only deliver to mainland UK and Northern Ireland.

Campanula Persicifolia

11.00

Tray of 6 plants

Nodding bell shaped lavender blue flowers on tall stems to 70cm. A great and reliable garden campanula which all the bees love.  Happiest in light shade but will tolerate some sun.

This one attracts a very tiny solitary bee (Chelostoma campanularum - the harebell bee) that specialises in campanulas. Its the size of a grain of black rice so look very carefully for it.
