Rosybee nursery update

You may have noticed that I have been a bit quiet on social media and also failed to do my autumn/end of season newsletter. I apologise for dropping communication but I had a phase where I really did not know what to say. We are in the process of trying to sell our site in Oxfordshire and hopefully buy an much bigger site - possibly Monmouthshire - where we can continue the nursery but also expand the ecology and education side of the business.

Up till October we had found a new site which we were very much in love with but then, due to delays with the sale in Oxfordshire, we lost it. I am sure many of you will have had similar house-move experiences and so can relate to my taking a bit of time to recover emotionally.

We are now starting another season at our Oxfordshire site and it is a relief to be starting the familiar routine of potting plants and think about marketing. We still hope to move later this year but we have decided not to search for another property until we are really certain.

In the mean time it’s business as usual with plant sales now open again and some training course dates for those of you who want to learn more about bees and how to identify what’s in your garden. See ‘events’ for our training courses.
