Plants that attract bees

Orders placed now will be delivered from the end of March

All our plants have been carefully selected to ensure that they are amongst the most attractive to bees; we grow and observe each variety before we offer them for sale. And of course they are all grown organically and are peat and pesticide free!

We sell our plants in trays of 6 plants, or sometimes 10, and each tray is enough to fill 1+ square meters of flowering area. All plants are ready to go straight into the ground and we recommend planting in blocks of 3s or 5s as a big block is more efficient for the bees.

Sorry we only deliver to mainland UK and Northern Ireland. Please note we deliver by courier.

Dianthus barbatus - sweet william

11.00

Tray of 6

A hardy, low growing and spreading dianthus in a range of dark reds and pinks from our own mixed seed. Flowers, 40cm high from May to July and if gently cut back can give another showing. The long nectar tubes mean that this plant is only attractive to long-tongued pollinators such as the garden bumblebee and butterflies and moths.
