Plants that attract bees

Orders placed now will be delivered from the end of March

All our plants have been carefully selected to ensure that they are amongst the most attractive to bees; we grow and observe each variety before we offer them for sale. And of course they are all grown organically and are peat and pesticide free!

We sell our plants in trays of 6 plants, or sometimes 10, and each tray is enough to fill 1+ square meters of flowering area. All plants are ready to go straight into the ground and we recommend planting in blocks of 3s or 5s as a big block is more efficient for the bees.

Sorry we only deliver to mainland UK and Northern Ireland. Please note we deliver by courier.

Collection: bees in shade

40.00

24 plants (4 trays/plant varieties), ready to go straight into the ground (saving £4)

I need to say that most bees really do prefer to forage in sun but if you have a spot under some trees or that gets sun for part of the day then this is a collection of plants will provide benefit for bumble bees which will tolerate light shade.

Contains

6 blue campanula persicifolia,

6 purple geranium phaeum

6 blue pulmonaria

6 native pink foxgloves,

This collection will give both ground cover and height, flowering from April to July. If purchased late in the season the foxgloves will probably flower next year, after which allow them to set seed by clearing a bit of soil under them once they finish flowering. This help them provide you with more plants for the following year.
