Plants that attract bees

Orders placed now should be delivered w/c 18th June. Any plants on sale are discounted just because we need to sell them before they get too big to fit in our boxes!

All our plants have been carefully selected to ensure that they are amongst the most attractive to bees; we grow and observe each variety before we offer them for sale. And of course they are all grown organically and are peat and pesticide free!

We sell our plants in trays of 6 plants, or sometimes 10, and each tray is enough to fill 1+ square meters of flowering area. All plugs and plants are ready to go straight into the ground and we recommend planting in blocks of 3s or 5s as a big block is more efficient for the bees.

Sorry we only deliver to mainland UK and Northern Ireland. Please note we deliver by courier.

Anthemis tinctoria (best for solitary bees)

11.00

Tray of 6

Grey/green delicate foliage and a mass of yellow coloured daisies in June/July.  60cm tall. This plant is particularly attractive to a wide range of solitary bees. In our research we see up to 4 different species at a time when its in full flower.

It is also known as dyers chamomile as it was traditionally used to produce a yellowy-brown dye. Tends to be short lived.
